If you live in an area where the temperature is expected to be consistently below 50 degrees F on the week your plant is scheduled to arrive, then YES...you do need a heat pack. The heat packs stay warm inside the box for 72 hours once activated. They are available to purchase as a separate item in the shop.
Remember, we do not check the weather in each location before shipping. It is your responsibility to check the weather in your area and order accordingly.
Also keep in mind that if you do not order a heat pack and your plant is damaged due to cold, you will be excluded from the Fancy Promise that guarantees a free replacement.
The answer to this question is a little tricky. You only need one heat pack per box. However, depending on the size of the plants, your order could end up being shipped in multiple boxes.
As a general guideline:
I can usually fit 6, four-inch pots into one box.
I can fit 2, six-inch pots or hanging baskets into one box.
ALL plants taller than 18 inches tall have to be shipped in their own box.
When in doubt contact us and we will help you figure out how many you need.
As soon as you receive your package, take the plant out of the box, unwrap it and take out the wooden dowel and cotton fluff. Give it some water if the soil is dry. It may take one to two weeks for the plants to perk up as they acclimate to their new environment. Please DO NOT immediately repot your plant. It is stressed from traveling and needs at least two weeks to recover and acclimate to its new home.
You will receive a tracking number once your order has been shipped. You have access to the same tracking information as us. We do not have additional updates beyond what is listed on the USPS tracking website. There are times when USPS does not scan all of the labels. This can cause your package to look like it hasn't progressed. Don't be alarmed, many times it will update the day of delivery or sooner. Delays are possible due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances. You can still order worry-free as all orders are guaranteed with The Fancy Promise. Yes! However, it depends on the availability of the specific items you are interested in purchasing. In order to receive a bulk discount, you would need to purchase full cases of plants.
A full case holds either 30 four-inch pots or 12 six-inch pots. We cannot mix four-inch and six-inch pots in the same case without them getting damaged during shipping.
Yep! If you want to place your order now for a future ship date that is no problem. Make a note at check out and we will make sure we hold it for you.
