Scindapsus Silvery Anne

Scindapsus Silvery Anne is a gorgeous, vigorously vining plant whose olive green foliage is speckled with silvery, almost iridescent variegation. The silver is congregated mostly at the tips of the leaves. The heart-shaped leaves are velvety to the touch. Eventually, its vines grow quite long, making Silvery Anne a great choice for hanging planters. This plant does not like direct sunlight, which makes it perfect as a houseplant or in offices. Scindapsus is native to South East Asia.

**Toxicity: Toxic to pets and people if ingested. Can also cause skin irritation on occasion.

Bright, indirect light. Quite tolerant to lower light but can start to lose its characteristic leaf markings.

Water once the top 2 inches of soil is dry. You can tell that this plant needs to be watered when the leaves begin to curl inwards. Will tolerate underwatering, however is prone to root rot if overwatered.

65-85°F (18-29°C) for best growth. Be sure to keep your Scindapsus pictus away from drafty windows especially if you are in an area where it gets chilly during the winter months!

Scindapsus have very fragile roots. Repot very gently.
